Don’t you think that 2018 is flying by already? It’s April already!
Well this April, Richard and Bruce have been very, very busy (as always) but this time, travelling - travelling to see some of our many clients.
First, traveling from a visit at Emley, Huddersfield, to the opening of Head of Steam Nottingham, which was a blast! Still staying in Nottingham, going to visit one of the new Atik venues. Then, they went to meet with the team at Ossett Brewery in their venue, The HOP Saltaire – yes, this was all in one day!
The HOP Salitare is a Bar & Kitchen in an exciting new concept combining great food, real ales, continental lagers and live music. Their innovative menu consists of authentic wood-fired pizzas, traditional pub classics and internationally influenced a la carte dining using fresh, local and seasonal produce. The venue is housed in an historic Old Tram shed in the UNESCO World Heritage site of Salitare. If you ever pass through Saltaire, it’s definitely worth calling into The HOP for sure! Sounds great, huh! Travelling east across the country then to Wigan, for the opening of The Association. For those of you who don’t know what The Association is, well, let me tell you…The Association is a bar, club and terrace, it is also Wigan’s ultimate late-night playground. Serving the finest craft beers, cocktails and spirits in the most decadent surroundings. So next time you are in Wigan, don’t forget to have a cracking night out in The Association.
Catching a plane then to Gdansk (Poland) to attend to an annual conference and afternoon business development meeting. Busy right! Straight after, a team building exercise of Go Karting. Now we’re not sure if this was definitely team building, or just a chance for the lads to let off a little steam, but we won’t question it!
Moving swiftly onto a plane to Stanstead, London; to working from the Escape Lounge in the airport; before flying to Glasgow to attend to the ‘Open Championship Golf Course 2018’ in Carnoustie (one of Richard’s 50th Birthday presents with Josh). Then they travelled right back to HOP Solitaire, again! Such an amazing month for them, jam-packed with work and celebration cheers.
While we love the convenience of a quick call, or dropping someone a line on email, there is nothing better, sometimes, than meeting up and having a chat over a good brew and biscuit (or beer, whatever floats your boat!)
