Summer is when the fun starts: Freshers, Wimbledon, A-Level Results, The World Cup! When it gets busy for you, it gets busy for us and we’re very excited to say we’ve hired a new designer. So, everyone, meet Takara.
Takara joined QBC at the very beginning of July. Last year, she graduated from university - Sheffield Hallam, from the studies of Graphic Design! Takara is always inspired by the ever-growing trends on Instagram. Her goal is to enjoy what she is doing always, and she sees herself staying within the Design Industry because of its creative nature.
Takara is trailing everything at the minute to find her preferred style. She is currently working with clients such as Unit 1 Exeter and Vine Ashby on poster and event artwork, ready for Summer, Results Day and big nights they have coming up. She especially likes to create poster and menu designs.
When not at work, Takara spends her time with family and friends. She loves a good book in hand and likes to travel. She also loves crocheting, crafts in general, cooking and playing games.
Fun Fact: The difference between crochet and knitting, is that each stitch in crochet is completed before proceeding with the next one, while knitting keeps a large number of stitches open at a time. You need a rhythm of working so that the actual stitching itself becomes a pattern of movements until the desire to see your finished project overwhelms you!
And there we have it, from all at QBC – welcome to the studio!
